These interviews were conceived as an integral part of the Prospering Wisely project. They illuminate some of the personal stories behind the subjects’ academic careers, research and scholarship – as well as presenting evidence of the multiple ways in which the humanities and social sciences contribute to our overall prosperity. They also discuss the need for academics to be challenging, and to reach out to wider audiences.
