British Academy: The UK's National Academy for the Humanities and Social Sciences
A three-part celebration to mark the fourth centenary of the Union of the Crowns
Organised by
the British Academy and the Royal Society of Edinburgh
The first part will be a lecture by Dr Jenny Wormald, St Hilda's College Oxford, in London on 24 March 2003.
The second part will be a symposium on Anglo-Scottish relations 1603-1914, at the British Academy, 17-18 September, 2003
The third part will be a symposium on Anglo-Scottish relations since 1914 and into the future, at the Royal Society of Edinburgh, 6-7 November 2003.
