Welcome to the home page of the British Academy's conference in celebration of Einstein's Annus Mirabilis - the year in which the 26-year-old Patent Clerk proposed his revolutionary light quantum hypothesis, published his celebrated paper on Brownian motion, and proposed what came to be known as the special theory of relativity.
This event will be a major gathering of international experts in both the history and philosophy of science.
