Abstract
'Comunicare con il popolo': drama, novel and music in Mazzini's works

Particularly between 1826 and 1844 Mazzini dedicated a great attention to literary, musical and dramatic narratives as a consistent part of his new political program. This contribution will focuses on the relation between art and politics in Mazzini's pages, that moved from Foscolo to Guerrazzi, from Alfieri to Schiller, from Rossini to Donizetti, always having Dante's legacy in the rear mind.
