Participant's Biography

Professor John Hills (Pensions Commission / London School of Economics)

John Hills is a member of the Pensions Commission and is Professor of Social Policy and Director of the ESRC Research Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion (CASE) at the London School of Economics. His most recent publications are A More Equal Society? New Labour, poverty, inequality and exclusion (co-editor, Policy Press, 2005); Inequality and the State (OUP, 2004); and One Hundred Years of Poverty and Policy (co-author, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, 2004).
