Evolutionary origins and the development of the imagination

There are many ways to investigate what role imagination plays in the human mind. The resources in this section deal with two main approaches: the evolutionary origins of imagination (including the origins of art, evidence for forms of imagination in early humans predating Homo Sapiens, and in non-human primates), and the role of imagination in child development.
