Research Methods in Social Science

The British Academy and the CBRL British Institute in Amman organised a series of joint activities with a focus on research methods in social science. On 25 November, a seminar for university lecturers from across the MENA region focused on the state of methodological training in MENA and how such training could be better integrated in teaching and research programmes.

On 26-27 November, a two-day workshop, held in Amman, brought together a cohort of early career scholars from Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt and the occupied Palestinian territories, with the aim to enhance their knowledge about the application of qualitative and quantitative research methods in social science.
