ELECTED AS AN HONORARY FELLOW

Lord Bingham's distinguished contributions to law are demonstrated by his current appoint-ment as the Senior Law Lord, and by his earlier appointments to the highest judicial offices as Master of the Rolls and as Lord Chief Justice. His services to academic institutions have been signal, including chairmanship of the Royal Commission on Historical Manuscripts and the Council of Management of the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.
