Visiting Fellowships: 2008 Awards

In the third year of the new programme, 47 Visiting Fellowships were awarded in March 2008, for visits during the financial year 2008-09.

Awards are arranged alphabetically by surname of the Visiting Fellow.

Africa signifies that the award is one of six recommended by the Academy's Africa Panel.
Latin America and Caribbean signifies that the award is one of six recommended by the Academy's Latin America and the Caribbean Panel.
China signifies one of seven British Academy-Economic and Social Research Council China Visiting Fellowships, funded jointly by the Academy and the ESRC's China Selection Panel.
Middle East signifies one of eight British Academy-Economic and Social Research Council-Arts and Humanities Research Council Middle East Visiting Fellowships, funded jointly by the Academy, ESRC and AHRC.
South Asia signifies one of five British Academy-Economic and Social Research Council-Arts and Humanities Research Council South Asia Visiting Fellowships, funded jointly by the Academy, ESRC and AHRC.
