Special Joint Project Programmes: Spain

The British Academy has an Agreement with the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas for the support of Joint Research Projects.

BA/CSIC Joint Projects

This scheme offers grants to support joint projects between British and Spanish scholars. British scholars should apply to the Academy; Spanish scholars (who must be employed by or affiliated to the CSIC) should apply to the CSIC.

UK scholars seeking funding for collaboration with Spanish scholars outside the CSIC network should apply for a Small Research Grant.

Level of award: up to £2,500 per annum from the BA, with €3,500 available from the CSIC for the Spanish partner.
Period of award: up to two years
