The Academy has arrangements with the Huntington Library in San Marino, California (British and American history, literature, and art) and the Newberry Library in Chicago (History of Western Europe and the Americas from the late Middle Ages to the 19th century; literature; history of cartography).
Level of award: travel and maintenance expenses.
Period of award: one to three months.
Method of application: Applications must be submitted via e-GAP2, the Academy's electronic grant application system.

American Philosophical Society
The Academy has an Agreement with the American Philosophical Society to support research visits to Philadelphia.
Level of award: travel and maintenance expenses.
Period of award: one to three months.
