Research Grants
British Academy awards are offered for postdoctoral research in the humanities and social sciences.
The British Academy offers the following grants to enable scholars to conduct primary research in the UK or abroad:
- Small Research Grants
- British Academy Research Development Award (BARDAs) - This scheme replaces the Larger Research Grants scheme
Those wishing to take advantage of the Academy's links with certain foreign academies and other research organisations should consult the entries on International Agreements. Those wishing to travel to a conference abroad to deliver a paper should consult the entry on Overseas Conference Grants.
