IRAQ, The BISI JournalSince 1934, the BSAI/BISI has published a refereed journal, IRAQ, which is now published annually towards the end of each calendar year. Professor Andrew George FBA and Dr Dominque Collon are the Co-editors of the Journal Iraq to 2010. Dr Collon is stepping down after the publication of IRAQ LXXII and Dr Michael Seymour will be co-editor of future editions with Professor George. The Journal up to the past five years is now available on JSTOR - www.jstor.org For Contributors we provide the following guidelines: Wherever possible, articles should be submitted on disc and accompanied by a hard copy together with details of the programme and font (s) used. Please leave any formatting to a minimum; your hard copy will be marked up by the editors to confirm to house style. Illustrations should be submitted on CD in JPEG or TIFF format at a minimum of 300 dpi, o as clear prints of photographs or strong outline drawings in ink. Laser-quality print-outs of complicated computer-generated tables or graphics would be appreciated, submitted as PDF and Word. Abbreviaions follow those currently accepted in the Journals Orientalia and Archiv fűr Orientforschung. Be sure to include the following as end-matter: (a) full list of references or a bibliography, (b) an abstract of about 100 words suitable for translation into Arabic, and (c) your address and email for academic purposes. The contents pages of Volumes 1-31 (I-XXXI) was prepared by Helen Taylor for BISI and added to the web content in March 2008.
