European Consortium for Asian Field-study (ECAF)

The Academy is a founder member and the UK co-ordinator of ECAF, an alliance of some forty European and Asian institutions concerned with Asian studies established in 2007. ECAF offers field access and study facilities to Academy grant-holders and to scholars attached to other UK and European member organisations through the sharing of a network of more than twenty academic research centres across Asia.
