Area Panels
2010 rounds now closed
The 2010 rounds of the UK Latin America and the Caribbean Link scheme and the International Partnerships scheme have now closed. It is hoped that they will run again in 2011 to the same timetable.
Area Panels of experts exist to advise on strategy and potential developments for regions where the Academy has few or no institutional links.
The China Selection Panel, jointly funded by the ESRC, has overseen relations with China since 1980.
Area Panels on Africa and on Latin America and the Caribbean were established in March 2005.
A Europe Panel was established in May 2006, to review the Academy's existing relations with European partners and with international organisations.
Area Panels on the Middle East and North Africa and on South Asia were established in July 2007.
