Imaginative Minds: An interdicisciplinary symposium
A symposium held at the British Academy on 30 April-1 May 2004.
This symposium juxtaposes perspectives from psychology and cognitive science with anthropology, archaeology, musicology and philosophy in an inter-disciplinary exploration of human imagination. Themes include: the evolution and development of imagination; its role in cognition, creativity and culture; and brain mechanisms and imagination.
