Gillian Beer, Edith Hall, Frank McGuinness and Ian Smith, and explore the role and standing of poetry in the contemporary theatre, taking themes for there discussion from 20th century revivals of 'poetic' theatre, new translations of classical drama, and the work of Beckett and Pinter.
