British Academy launches new guide on the value of language learning

The British Academy, in collaboration with the European Commission, today publishes a new guide for current undergraduate students and school pupils to illustrate the value of language learning. Talk the Talk brings the excitement of languages to life and demonstrates how perseverance with language study can open doors to an array of careers and life experiences. The new guide offers personal endorsements from leading figures in the arts, sport, media, business, and politics, including: Arsène Wenger, Ellen MacArthur, Baroness Jean Coussins, and Nick Holzherr, to vividly demonstrate how language learning can open the door to a world of exciting opportunities, careers, and life experiences.
