British Academy university roadshows visit Durham

11 May 2017

The British Academy held a roadshow at Durham University today to raise awareness of the research funding opportunities available at different career stages.

The day included information sessions by British Academy staff members, concentrating on research funding schemes, international funding, and tips for successful applications.

Past award holders from Durham and Newcastle Universities also gave presentations and posters on their research and shared their experiences.

This event was part of a series of roadshows across the country, aimed at raising awareness of funding offered by the Academy, especially to early- and mid-career researchers. Previous events have taken place in Salford, Bristol and Sheffield.
