British Academy announces 29 Rising Star Engagement research awards for 2016

29 Mar 2016

The British Academy is pleased to announce that 29 awards have been made through the British Academy's Rising Star Engagement (BARSEA) Scheme. This scheme provides funding of up to £15,000 to distinguished Early Career Researchers to assist their career development through organising interdisciplinary events for other Early Career Researchers.

This year's group of award winners follows on from last year's inaugural selections and were chosen from a high-calibre field of applications that include projects focussing on open access for social scientists and a study on the relationship between football fans and refugees in Europe.

The British Academy is pleased to continue its long tradition of supporting Early Career Researchers through this new channel. You can download the BARSEA award winners 2016 here (PDF file - 244 KB).
