Salary: £20k - £24k per annum, plus excellent benefits

The British Academy is looking for motivated, creative and skilful communicators to help raise the profile of the organisation and promote the value of the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Three new assistant roles have been created to work across the full breadth of work undertaken by the Academy’s Communications Team, with the opportunity to specialise in a particular area depending on your experience and ambitions.

We are looking for energetic candidates, with a nose for a story and a passion for communicating. You will be an advocate for digital and work in an efficient and organised way. A key part of your role will be editing our digital channels – such as our website and e‐newsletters – and producing creative audio, video and written content.

We will provide a supportive and stimulating environment and will build a programme of work that draws on your existing strengths and allows you the space to develop new skills. You will develop a wealth of experience that will get your career off to a strong start.
