Ian Kershaw in conversation with Diarmaid MacCulloch

On 2 July 2015, Sir Ian Kershaw FBA, Emeritus Professor of History at the University of Sheffield, delivered his Raleigh Lecture on History, ‘Out of the ashes: Europe’s rebirth after the Second World War, 1945-49’. A few weeks earlier, Sir Ian was interviewed for the British Academy Review by the Reverend Professor Diarmaid MacCulloch Kt FBA, Professor of the History of the Church at the University of Oxford, and chair of the British Academy’s Events and Prizes Committee.
