Dr Toby Green is Lecturer in Lusophone African History and Culture, at King’s College London. He was a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow between 2007 and 2010. He currently holds a British Academy Rising Star Engagement Award for his project on ‘Identities in Greater Senegambia and beyond: Interdisciplinary Approaches through History and Music in Dialogue’.
