Writing workshops support early career scholars in the Global South

The British Academy has announced 19 writing workshops to support the development of promising early career scholars in the Global South.

These workshops will bring together international journal editors with UK-based scholars and early career academics in the Global South for a series of activities to develop their skills.

Focusing on academic writing, these workshops will support the development of talented early career researchers and promote the publication in peer-reviewed journals of research emanating from the Global South.

Workshops will take place in 19 different countries across Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America, and will be jointly led by scholars in the Global South and in the UK, fostering interactions and encouraging the development of links across countries.
