In March 2022, the British Academy convened representatives from government, academia, civil society, and business over a three-part roundtable series to discuss the role of various underpinning elements of a people-centred shift to net zero. The roundtable discussions were chaired by British Academy Fellows and aimed to contribute insights and perspectives from a broad range of people to the British Academy Net Zero policy programme. The programme explores from a people-centred perspective how to shape the policy agenda on the transition to net zero.
